Surface Land Manager
This position will involve working closely with our team of dedicated professionals including other Land Managers, directing Land Agents and Land Administrators.
Duties would include but are not limited to:
- Negotiations with Landowners/Occupants/Stakeholders for various surface interests
- Research area compensation for negotiations
- Prepare reports for file status and related issues
- Prepare for and attendance before various Boards and Authorities
- Administer and maintain files both electronically and hard copy
- Knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations
- Experience in the oil and gas industry
- Experience in able to manage all aspects of a project that involves ROW acquisition, Public consultation and land requirements for regulatory filing
- Effective and efficient problem-solving skills
- Communication with the client throughout the Project(s)
- Ensure tasks are being completed
- Responsible to assigning agents to specific areas
- Training staff where needed
- Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Alberta Land Agents License
- Valid Alberta Drivers License
- Valid Alberta Commissioners for Oaths appointment
- Land Management Diploma or similar alternative or relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Word Excel and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Organized and able to work with minimal supervision
